the stories of 6

what is the story of 6?
what has happened to it?
how do you undo this process?

3 + 6 = 9 this means that 6 = 9 - 3
[making 6 the subject]
maybe start by saying it out loud
"if 10 divided by 2 is 5, what other statements can I write involving these three numbers"
then try to write these as an expression involving numbers

consider the steps: what happened in going from 3 + 6 = 9 to 6 = 9 - 3 ?
[equivalent statements, obtained by rearrangement]
