rhombus dissections 2
David Wells* points out that one systematic way to fill up even-sided regular polygons is to use triangular numbers of rhombuses
if you make all the rhombuses into squares and unhook from the bottom point you will see the pattern of 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + .... squares - which is pretty amazing...
