compactness

joining all the nodes to the centre - so that each dot is joined to a nearest neighbour and there are no loops formed

you can have as many branches as you like from each node but they must join to a nearest neighbour

this simulates a small network e.g. of computer terminals

this is one way to do it - what do the numbers at each node signify?
how does this network produce a number of 48?

can you produce a smaller number than 48?
